If nothing else, the Shakers were a sturdy and self-reliant bunch, weren’t they? It only seems appropriate then that Shaker style cabinetry should reflect that same sensibility. This style is known for clean and simple lines, which, personally, I think is quite elegant. Just don’t tell your Shaker friends the “elegant” part, okay?
